I'm inspired to write this because I read every review available prior to us leaving on our first ever cruise and it was an immense help. Hopefully this will provide some valuable information for at least a few people. For background, we are an energetic couple in our 30s who like to stay busy, but also like to marvel at mother nature's beauty. I had bought a walking tour book from Amazon and this came in VERY handy.

Embarkation: We stored our luggage at the concierge in Seattle for $3 a bag while we took a chocolate tour. We got our bags around 1:30 and went right next door to the baggage area. They were quick and friendly and we were on our way to security. There was quite a long line to get thru security and it was held up for almost 30 minutes while they were trying to get everyone thru the check-in lines. Once the line started moving again, though, it went fairly quick. All in all, we were on the boat by 2:45 with our room keys in hand.

Room: We had a balcony room towards the front of the ship. It was adequate for 2 people with a decent size bathroom. There was plenty of space and hangers for clothes. Our room steward, William, was very friendly and promised me my towel animals (which I adored). William took excellent care of us and was awesome!
