We spent seven wonderful days on the Valor in May 2010. My father-in-law retired and wanted the whole family to cruise together. For most of us it was the first cruise and we are hooked! We had 10 adults and 8 kids, ranging in age from 2 1/2 to 8. Three cabins were interior cabins on the riveria deck, one interior on the main deck, and one oceanview on the main deck. Our cabins were wonderfully kept and we were thrilled with the service. Our head waiter, Jose, was a part of the family very quickly! The kids all loved him and he did a great job of making them feel special! We had no trouble with embarkation or debarkation. We enjoyed Grand Cayman - my daughter and I did a dolphin encounter which she loved. In Roatan, my husband and son did the Pirates, Monkeys and Birds. The beach there was AMAZING!!! In Belize we took a horse and buggy ride through the city. It was a VERY different port then all of the others! Our last stop was Cozumel; good shopping but very crowded and the beach we took a cab to was nasty. Our kids all LOVED Camp Carnival. It was a great option so that we could have time with them, but also time away from them. The care was great (we have a child with food allergies and they handled it GREAT!) and the kids had a blast. My husband loved the casino and even left with more then he went in with!We are booked on another Carnival cruise for this fall - this time without the kids - and are very excited! We would cruise on the Valor again. The ship was amazing and the staff was wonderful!
