This was my 6th cruise all with Thomson on all the ships so when we booked to go on the ship myself, mum and grandma were all very excited. Until we started hearing the bad reports and watched Ann Robinson on Watchdog. After hearing all the bad things about the ship we were very tempted to swap our booking. So glad we didn't and I can tell you that Ann Robinson and Watchdog are completely wrong with their description of The Dream. She is brilliant!
We flew from Manchester to Palma on Thomson Airways, the flight itself was fine but if you are over 4ft tall I would try and book extra leg room because the amount of room they give you in the seats is terrible. We didn't book an in flight meal as I think they are a waste of money! Once there the bags took an age to come through but my grandmas wheel chair came out with the baggage this year rather than us having to spend 2 hours wandering around the airport looking for it like last year!
Coach transfer was quick and efficient as normal, but check in at the port took an age as their was a party of 50 Mexican school children checking in before us!!! But once through we were on the ship quickly and taken to our room.
Large, spacious, plenty of hanging space, three drawers and two bedside drawers.
