Sail Date: Mar 2011

My husband and I sailed on the wonderful Thomson Dream on 3rd March 2011. The main reason for booking this was for the three days that we would be spending in Havana, Cuba, besides the many other beautiful Caribbean Islands also included in the two week itinerary.

Having had such an amazing time on this ship, which was perfect for us, when we next cruise we will ensure that it is on Thomson Dream again. The staff are so friendly, polite and efficient; the nightly broadway theatre shows are outstanding; there are so many varied comfortable seating areas; and the tasty food is varied, plentiful and to a high standard.

As for Havana if you are planning to visit this fantastic place, and you want to experience a city tour in your own classic car, look out for a bright pink Chevrolet. Roger, the driver, took us on a fascinating tour of old and new Havana. He stopped to let us take photos, and he also took many photos of us together. This one and a half hour tour was our Havana highlight, which we will always remember.
