This was our first cruise and it was almost perfect. The food, staff, and our room, an aft balcony, were wonderful. We had four minor complaints and I will get them out of the way first, then talk about the good things.

1. Leaving Tampa was a nightmare! When we checked in they gave us a mimeographed page saying we would have an earlier than normal (12:30) check-in. We stood around for hours with no seats or announcements. Every time I went and asked someone what was happening they said we were going to start boarding in a few minutes. Finally they set up a table with juice and cookies, again no announcement, I just happened to be walking by. When I went back to where we had been standing everyone around us wanted to know where we got the food?

2. The coffee on the ship was horrible! Everyone at our dinner table complained as did my husband every morning. Read more
