Sail Date: May 2011
Cabin: Balcony

We sailed on the Grand Princess in December 2010 and looked forward to a refurbishment that (as advertised) would restore her to mint condition. Not only were we disappointed, we were dismayed. Why?

1. The ship was not certified to sail and was delayed 14 hours.

2. The refuse and filth from the dry dock remained on the balconies and public space widows.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin was spacious enough and the balcony is huge. The closet is small and the bathroom is typical princess. This mid-ship cabin was quiet as far as ship noise is concerned but the walls are thin so noise from adjoining rooms could be heard. The cabin is near the mid-ship elevators making getting around the ship easy.
