We didn't get off the ship. We were just too exhausted from our daily lives at home, so slept late and enjoyed relaxing on the ship. I heard from other passengers there wasn't much to do once on shore. My sister and her husband went on the tour that took them to a luxury spa for a day of pampering. They thought it was "okay," but took the lounges closest to the beach where they were pestered by local trying to sell them trinkets all day long. It was far from relaxing because of that. 
Be sure to check out the view on the port (left) side going in or leaving the cove for a great sighting of the famous rock arc. 


Cabo San Lucas

Our Celebrity-arranged tour took us to see the cliff divers and around the area. The cliff divers were awesome, especially when you saw what they were diving into. There were a lot of people in the viewing area, so sometimes it was a little difficult to see. The divers wait inside the building you pass through on your way out. It would have been good to know that ahead of time because it was possible to give them tips if you wanted to (not required), but there wasn't time to rummage for money by the time we saw them. 
Our bus tour of the area was also very good, and we had an excellent guide. 
Just so you know, there is also a fort right outside the pier. We didn't get a chance to go there, but it looked like an interesting place to explore. 


Acapulco

Our Celebrity-arranged bus tour took us around the city and out into the countryside where we were treated to children performing traditional dances in the town square. The kids did a wonderful job. 
Then we headed farther out into the country where our guide pointed out things like cashews and bananas growing, and told us about the culture. He also passed items like cashew fruit with the nut attached and banana blossoms around the bus for us to see. I don't know if all guides do this, but it made for a very interesting ride and a wealth of local information. 
We ended up at the end of the pier at a small local market. The prices were very good, and we bought a carved wooden box and a few other things for family back home. 
Note: The pier is very long, and I figured I'd be exhausted by the time I reached the end. Happily, they drive the tour buses up to the ship, and also run shuttle carts back and forth along the pier, so at the end of an exhausting day, you get to ride back to the ship. 


Punta Arenas

We went on the Signature tour of Cartagena arranged by our travel agent -- something not available on the ship's tour list. It was wonderful! We toured an old stone fort that was still standing complete, then went into town for a stop at a colorful market. Just the buildings around the market were worth the trip, they were so beautiful. We then toured a compound with several buildings and an old church, and finished off at a show by adult dancers who exhausted me just watching them. The Signature Tours are something that certain travel agencies offer as part of a program they are in, and they are free for the passengers. What a wonderful perk for using certain travel agencies! 


Cartagena (Colombia)

Balcony was extra large.  They look the same on the ship's deck plan, but there is a difference in size.  The ones located around our cabin (on both sides of the ship) are larger than others.

Good location, no noise from the venue below, and not too far from the elevators.

The one above us only held two upright chairs and small table.6) Bring a hat, even if you don't usually wear one.
