We have never had a cruise go more smoothly than this one. Embarkation was in minutes. Oasis just takes a little planning in order to not be overwhelmed by the size of the ship or number of other passengers. We headed straight to Park Cafe for those delicious roast beef sandwiches. It's the only place in Central Park with complimentary dining - - and it's all very good. It was our favorite place for breakfast. After the first day, was rarely very crowded. We only went to Windjammer once. We were ordered to wait for a table as the only one open "was a table for four only" according to the traffic cop hostess. Later we noticed a party of one at that table. My husband's comment, "first time I've ever been told NO on a cruise." There are so many other dining options that we didn't miss Windjammer. Solarium Bistro was a favorite for lunch and some breakfasts. Complimentary until the evening meal. Close to the adults only solarium where we spent a lot of our pool time.We enjoyed the quiet of Central Park. Spent more time in Vintages than on other ships. Not only did it provide needed quiet space but was staffed with more friendly bartenders than on our previous cruises. We went to a wine tasting there which was very enjoyable. The Viking Crown Lounge on deck 17 was a great place for sunsets. It was also rarely crowded. We usually almost had the place to ourselves.Giovanni's and Chops were our specialty restaurants. Great as always. We tried the Seafood Shack. Not a bad deal. We saw Hairspray -- thought the performances were excellent. Aqua Theater was good and the Love and Marriage show was as funny as always. Our room was an ocean view balcony. I wouldn't do anything else. You need that place to get away. Saw some breathtaking views. There was a very international demographic to this ship. Most of the time on the elevators we heard other languages than English.Reserve everything ahead. Plan for things to take more time than usual and be patient with the crowds. Sometimes you pass up an elevator that's full. No big deal. The ship is beautiful and service top notch. We did express departure. We left our cabin and were off the ship on onto our hotel shuttle in 10 - 12 minutes. All things considered: a great cruise.
