A very disappointing cruise with limited facilities for a cruise of this length and so many sea days. Brilliant fellow passengers and dining table company was excellent. Cabin steward and dining room staff were excellent. Very good library and internet room but theatre disappointing and quality of entertainment poor although some of individual artists very good.Very small pool and noisy at lunchtime when loud live music was played which resulted in many passengers going to their cabin balcony.Shop choice and stock very limited and all reflective of a small ship which whilst it has advantages has to be weighed against many other downsides.Suspicion of Senior management problems on the ship with a sub standard Cruise Director and a Captain whilst very communative over attentive to young attractive female passengers. As always on cruise ships Tours are becoming exhorbitant from a price point of you and there is a feelling of being "ripped off".The ship acquired a severe spread of Norovirus after only a week into the cruise and still the management of the ship did not attend to what were clearly adverse hygiene issues and only started to place hand washers out and clean the hand rails some three weeks after the illness started. The fact the ship was only 3/4 full for the first part of the cruise was and had to be discouted heavily for the latter part to attract additional passengers was interesting? In future we will revert to larger ships with better entertainment.
BB deck and mid ship so ideally located. Near crew space but not a problem. Balcony more than adequate as was cupboard space and bathroom. Very quiet cabin and location
We had been to KL before so visited on our own and found it easy to cover many locations
We did the city Tour which was reasonable price wise and an experience well worth doing
Our first time to India and a great experience although would not return. We did a city Tour which was good value and would not recommend trying to sightsee on your own
Love the place although a friend of the family who lives in Dubai took us around all the sights during the day which was a great experience. Tours hugely expensive and entirely safe to visit the sites on your own.
If you don't go to Petra where the cost on the Princess Tours was huge and stay in Aquaba you will be disappointed as it is a "dump" and little to see.
Here again if you don't go on a 10 hour tour to Luxor at enormous cost on a Princess tour then there is absolutely nothing to do in Safaga. We joined up with friends and went by taxi to a resort some 50 miles away which was very pleasant but the place was deserted partly because it was Friday and in course of renovation.
Don't stay in Piraeus but go to Athens by taxi or rail. It is a fun city steeped in history and easy to get around.
A beautiful port with access to Capri and Naples. It was very busy with other cruise ships in on our day and the shops are expensive. Easy to get around on your own. Tendered in but whilst we were 1 hour late getting a shore not a problem.
