This is the first cruise i have ever been on my partner has been on at least seven.Embarkation was so easy no messing around on within 15 mins. Champagne welcome on arrival which was a nice touch.Muster drill was straight forward no life jackets had to be worn you simply had to meet at your designated point and watch the TV screen.Bay of Biscay crossing was a nightmare gale force winds, the captain did warn us before departure but i did not expect it to be so bad i was terrified. In general i would say the ship is nice but too much focus is set on the specialised dining you really do not need so many. The Eclipse theatre was ok but the entertainment was awful i really don't know where they get these people from. one guy did some silly dance whilst removing his very unsavoury hawaiian shirt it was like he was entertaining a bunch of two year olds not educated adults. The main dining room is very nice and our waiter Albert was so lovely the staff could not do enough for you and where very polite. The cruise director was a nice chat but his end of talk chig a chig ah was naff. The food was nice and well presented but i never thought wow.Loved the fruit in the morning and the blueberry sauce. The sky lounge was always full of smoke so we could not go in as i hate smoking and do not like the smell on my cloths. The indoor pool area was very relaxing and probably my favourite part. The room was very nice and clean. All in all i would say it is a nice ship, my partner said it is the least stable ship he has been on.Oh and the soft drinks machine the tropical drink was nice a bit like J20 the lemonade was yuk very much like alka saltza. Would i go again on this ship yes despite the man over board and helicopter drama.Do they need to upgrade the entertainment defenitley yesAre the staff hard workers YES very hard workers Did i have a nice time yes i did.
very nice as we moved to a balcony would always choose a balcony on a long cruise.
