This was our first cruise with NCL, we've always cruised with Royal Caribbean but really liked the itinerary so we thought we'd give it a try. There were four of us...two couples all in our late 20's. Getting to the pier was really easy and once we parked (for $30 a day) and got checked in it didn't take long to board the ship. We were able to get on a little after 12 and took the time to walk around and explore. The ship itself is really nice, all the bright colors and cool furniture make it really fun. Then we went to get lunch at the buffet which we found to be complete chaos no matter what time we went so we tried to avoid eating there as much as possible. Our room was nice, we had a balcony but our room steward must not have had enough time to finish cleaning because there was sand all over the balcony and coffee still in the coffee pot. Other that that it was nice. Our friends had a junior suite on deck 11 and got woken up ever morning to chairs on the pool deck being moved around. For dinner we ate at the specialty restaurants 5 of the 7 nights which were all delicious. Just didn't feel like waiting for a table in the main dining rooms for food that wasn't that good. Bermuda was beautiful, I've been there many times and it's by far one of my favorite places to go. We got a 3 day bus/ferry pass and just did our own thing on the island. The staff was great...(bartenders, waiters, room steward) everyone was so friendly and always had a smile. The cruise director not so much, never saw her interact with anyone, her staff on the other hand was a lot of fun. There were always a ton of activities going on especially at night...from the disco party, the white hot party and the pub crawl. We were never board. Getting off the ship was crazy, we did the express walk off and had to wait in a line for 45 minutes. There didn't seem to be any direction no one was there to direct anyone. Overall it was a good cruise. I heard a lot of people throughout the trip saying how unhappy they were with different things and a lot of people were not happy with the $12 automatically taken from your account, For us...we had fun. Would we sail with NCL again? If the price and itinerary were good than yes.
