NCL Epic:Everything I had read about this ship indicated that this ship had a "WOW" factor. Let me be the first to assure you that there is a definite "WOW" factor on-board. So, let me give you the Good, the Bad and the Ugly as I saw it (Do I sound like Clint Eastwood?).The Good:The accommodations, the food, the service, the shows. In no particular order. I like the state rooms. There seems to be plenty of room to move around and store your clothes and other things. I read reviews from other cruiser who did not like the staterooms, but I really believe that they were as my dear departed mother would call people who "would complain if you hung them with a new rope". With all the "nooks and crannies" in our stateroom, we were losing things that we knew that we had stored somewhere..... We did find them again though. The service is wonderful. I can't remember ever getting such great service and from crew members who always seem to have a pleasant outlook. NCL seems to have it all together in customer service. The food is wonderful, and they even have food that satisfies my particular dietary restriction (Sugar Free). Thank you NCL for taking people like me into consideration. We have eaten at several of the on board restaurants and have been happy with the food in all of them so far.The shows are great! We did get to see the "Blue Man Group" and they are truly funny. They go out of their way to involve the audience and accomplish it. What a great show!We went to the "Second City" show and they were funny and involved the audience on an almost continuous basis to complete the "Improv" sequences. One thing we heard mentioned while waiting for our table at the Teppanyaki restaurant, was that a 7 day cruise was not long enough to see everything. I could not agree more. However, we did see a lot and I was even able to get a bottle of Glenlivet for a lot less than what I would have paid for it at the Virginia ABC stores! The Bad: You can't swim in any of the swimming pools. They are all to small and to shallow. The water park is fun and allows you to get wet, but I cant's swim in any of the pools. I can only get wet and sit around. Not what I would call great swimming.Although they do provide Pizza delivery 24/7 ($5.00 for a large Pizza, what a great deal!), their breakfast room service lacks variety. It only includes cold cereals! Is there a reason they can't provide a more diverse menu???The Ugly:Sorry, this is just here to complete the "triplet" as I really did not see anything ugly on board unless you want to include the price for drinks.....OK, so we really only had 2 complaints. First, where is the swimming pool??? We found several wading pools, but no swimming pools. Second, since we were on our honeymoon, there were times that we did not really want to leave the stateroom, so, we wanted to order from room service. You can always get a pizza, but the rest of the menu consists of a few sandwiches, not great variety here.....
