Sail Date: Apr 2011

First of all our Port of Embarkation was Sharm el Sheik but it didn't appear on the list of options. We were on the cruise on 14th April 2011.Embarkation and disembarkation was very simple.Food in the Lido was excellent. We never tried anuwhere else.Cabin was much bigger with more storage than we expected, but only have European and American sockets so adaptors are needed, and they are so close to the desktop that there isn't room for the lead at the bottom of an English 3 pin plug.Didn't like the entertainment much. It was very loud, harsh, and distorted, probably due to the amplification system. The sail-away party on deck was great though. All the excursions were excellent. They seemed expensive until you found that normal entry into Petra was £50, then there's the cost of the coach, guide, lunch at a grand hotel, security etc.We thoroughly enjoyed it, didn't hear of any sickness on board as there apparently was the week before.Already planning the next one, and it'll be Thomson again.
