My wife and I paid for a cabin with balcony expecting to be in port in Bermuda for 4 days. We were there for 3 days. The delay was not communicated to the passengers early enough to change our pre cruise travel to NYC. The day we spent in NYC was not our idea of a vacation. We are from beautiful western NY and usually avoid the City like a plague. This was not an unforeseen delay on HAL's part. Neither weather nor circumstances beyond their control caused the delay. The $75.00 per person on board credit was not near equal to the cash they charged us for the day we missed in Bermuda.We had no problem with the ship accommodations, food or wait staff. However, the information available to passengers by the administration was totally inadequate all along the way.Bermuda is a beautiful destination and we recommend it to any travelers looking to relax in a very friendly and interesting fair weather port.
