We were able to book a cruise very early on the Disney Dream and had really looked forward to it. There are many pros about the Dream but some cons.Let's start with the pros:A lovely ship that really does have the look and feel of an old ocean liner, very great staff that is so kind and welcoming to the children, wonderful children's programs with exceptional activities and childcare, imaginative detective game with modern technology, very nice island, childcare and lunch. The pirate party is so special as are the fireworks. The Golden Mickeys was the best. The cons: It was crowded. Too many people for the size of the ship. The pools are dangerous for young children. Very overcrowded with everyone jumping in all at once. The food is typical Disney food and does not meet the standards of other lines such as Princess. The restaurants are too small and noisy. There were alot of characters aboard but there were very long lines and short times for picture taking. Not many activities for adults. In summary, I would go on the Dream if I had children to take aboard. Childcare and activities are excellent. If you want a first class relaxing cruise for adults this is not it.
The cabin was very nice. The concept of separate baths in great. Two sinks work very well. The children's bunk was something that my grandson loved. Very nice overall. Lots of storage and separate closets.
