This was my 6th cruise and all on carnival We stayed in NOLA the night before the cruise and had a blast!!! We stayed at the Hilton Riverside and it is a nice place to stay!!Day of sailing- I have to say that VIP is the way to go We were on the ship within 20 min or less It is so nice to by pass all the waiting in line to go nowhere!!!!. kinda like the hurry up and wait!! As we entered the ship it was very pain free I noticed that the ship was very clean and there were people to assist you with anything We made our way to the lido deck and kicked back a for a lil rest!! The burgers and buffet were up and going and the music was flowing!!!! We had some friends go with us on this trip and it took them about 1 hour to get thru the boarding processDinner- After reading previous reviews of the Triumph I was not too sure what to expect I have to say that all dinning ,both buffet and sit down was very fast and very good. There were lines at the buffets but they were always moving. The main seating diner area was always clean and very prompt servicePorts- We went to Key West, Freeport and Nassau We really enjoyed Key West, being from Florida we had no idea how different the Keys are. It really opened out eyes and we cant wait to go back. As far as Freeport not too much to say If you want to do the diving excursion better book it fast!!!!!! I planned to go diving and 3 weeks before we set sail it was sold out. I called the local dive shops and they all are thru the cruise lines so BOOK EARLY on line!!! As for Nassau If you dont do Atlantis there is not really too much to do We did the Dolphin/Atlantis excursion and it was wonderful Very clean and not too over priced In Key West we did the pub crawl It was the best time ever we went to the local pubs and had a great leader. We didnt hit the common ones cptn Tony's or Sloppy Joes but the regular every day places. Ricks, Flyn Monkires and Schooners by the boat dock( not cruise pier) LOTS OF

Cabin Review

Our cabin was top notch We always get a penthouse suit and it is always up to our expectations the balcony was perfect and the service was wonderful The balcony was cleaned when we were in port an our windows were clean We were on the 7th deck mid-ship and never had a problem with the ships movement!!!!
