This was the best cruise ever. It was my first but i enjoyed it so much.I am going to review all the ports i did with the best information. If you have any questions please send me an email and i may be able to answer it for you. Sarahmkelly@live.caI am doing a review of each poort i went to but here i will talk about the ship. Our cabin was one deck 1 second last room from the back. I love being aft because all we had to do was take the elevator up to deck 4 and we were at out dining room and up to deck 9 for the adult pool and buffet breakfast. The only thing was that we could hear the engine or motor at night but it didnt keep us up so if you wake easily you might want to try more midship or up a fee decks. My parents had a balcony last year for thier first cruise and this time an inside cabin with no window. They didnt miss the balcony at all. The only time we were in our room was to sleep so we didnt need it. The bathroom and closets were all the same size the only thing that was different between the two was the couch and desk were not in the inside cabin. My bed came out of the roof since there were three of us in the room. Of you are going to be 4 peoplein the room i suggest getting 2 separate cabins. It would have been less room if both beds were down from the ceiling. On carnival the kids cubs go to 17. So as an 18 year od you are considered an adult. So i got to play in the casino and go to the adult comedy and adult pool and the adult dance club. You will need your picture id around the ship if you are close to 18 or look young. They always had activities going on for the kids. If your not going to put your kids in these activities dont let them run aroud the ship and being hoolagins. There were these 4 kids around the ship that were always breaking things and running around and going in opposite gender bathrooms. The food was delicious. I tried things that i never though i would eat. Why not,, you alrdy paid for it. Please check out my port reviews i will do my half moon cay review on here since its a private island and its not an option as a port review. Best day ever. Total full beach day beautiful water and white sand. It was a tender port. People who had booked a shore excursion or a cabana got an express pass to be first off the ship. We booked a cabana and we will never do half moon cay again without one probably. Air conditioned hut with snack and veggies and dip and fruit and 2 cans of pop each. Sooo worth it. Also comes with snorkel gear for everyone and water floaty mat things. We had cabana 3. Last one to choose from and we actually liked it alot. I wouldnt get cabana 1 or 2 if you wanted to be away from people. The beach started to fade out of people around our cabana but people set up thier beach chairs right in front of our cabana trying to get in the shade of the tree that was planted by our cabana. Number 4 was a perfect one too. No one was around thier cabana because there was no tree to provide shade. If your less then 4 people in the cabana say your 4 people anyways because you get more food and drinks. We went snorkling first thing before people got there to scare off the fish. It was soo cool to swim over the fish. Theres a bar on the lsland and you get a big buffet bbq lunch. And the rest of the day we just floated in the water. I rate half moon cay 5++++++++
