Lets start with the negatives. Ship is huge, but way too small for the amount of ppl. I understand what Carnival is, basically they stuff as many decks as possible so as to keep the price down so families can afford to cruise. With only two small pools and a kiddie water park the public swim areas are always crowed. The Lido deck pool is packed by 8am and getting a seat is nearly impossible. They should get rid of the putt-putt mini golf and use that space for another pool area or water type park. They could also put more showers for cooling off around the ships decks with chairs. The casino is really nice, but if you like slot machines forget it. They never pay and are way too tight. The food was really good but they for some reason cant make toast or squeeze orange juice. Basic complaint is simple KIDS KIDS KIDS!!! If you dont like kids. dont take this cruise.Positives are many. Food is outstanding and always served promptly. Buffets are great, pasta bar is awesome, deli is cool, sushi bar nice & pizza is always fresh. No complaints on food. Shows where entertaining and professional. Plenty of public bars and lounges to hang at. Comedy club was really fun. Adult comedy was great. Went to the steak house and well worth the $30 extra.Ports are what you make of them. Dont book excursions thru Carnival. Do it separately and save. Casa Maya is great but a 2:30 return time is way too soon. Cant enjoy the awesome beach.
