Traveled with children

We are a family of three. We have a ten year old son. This was spring break for alot of kids, but most of the kids were well behaved. We have done 9 cruises, but this was our first Norwegian. we wanted to try Norwegian because of the so laid back atmosphere with the dining and everything else. We always dressed nice for supper but no long dress or suites, which my son and husband loved. We never ate in the paid restaurants. The food was good in the Manhattan restaurant. it was not the best I have had on cruise but it was still good. The desserts were very disappointing. My husband was told by someone that works on the ship, that each week the head chefs alternate to each restaurant, so you never have the same chef each week in the same restaurant, which makes a big difference. On to the rooms, small, small, small. This is the smallest room we have ever had on any of the ships we have traveled on. The balcony was so huge they could have used some of that space for the room. The bathroom being divided did not bother us it actually was nice. i could shower while someone else might have had to use the restroom. my son said the slides were awesome. He enjoyed the kids program at night. he hardly went during the day because of the slides. The stops- Costa Maya, why do they stop there. The trinkets are so expensive. We were off for 30 mins and back on the ship. Roatan was nice. We took a tour through victor Bodden. Our driver was Shannon and he was very good. Cozumel was beautiful. Of course the casino took all our money we brought to gamble with. The best show was the blue man group. The other complaint I have is they had things going on all the time but it was stupid stuff like folding napkins, talking about things in the spas etc. They had game shows usually one a day but it was always at night and sometimes late on the back deck where it was cold. need to do a better job with more things to do. Always make sure you bring back your beach towel to room or if you check it out at pool take it back to pool window or they will charge you $25 a towel. We really enjoyed this cruise and I probably would do another Norwegian cruise again.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

The cabin was too small. For this to be a new ship i would have expected the room to a little bigger than what the old ships cabins are. But this is the smallest cabin we have ever had out of 9 cruises.
