-getting on the ship was ultra easy, we got on at approx 2pm and could go right to our room, we were in 4549, a INTERIOR room near the LOBBY, it was quiet and no issues with it,our attendant(Leslie) was excellent and we got the requisite towel animal all week, we also got my wife birthday remembered in the Dinning with a small cake. Our rooms were ready immediately, but our luggage did not arrive until 9 pm. So have what you want with you in your carry on. We did the muster drill at 8 pm. Took about 40 minutes. They call out you room number and you have to yell "here."The ship is beautiful and well maintained. Our favorite spots were lunch outside in the Windjammer, snacks at the Seaview Cafe and just relaxing in a small outdoor lounging area on deck 11 (accessible from the walking track on deck 12). The only time we noticed any crowd was on the sea day by the pool. We had 3 pool loungers (1 in the sun and 2 in the shade) and spent the entire sea day on the pool deck. The Centrum is beautiful and is a great spot to hang out after dinner...there is always some type of music there in the evenings.food: was good but not overly memorable, the windjammer was nice and we seldom had trouble finding seats,Each night we had a 6pm reservation in the dining room table 103, regular dining was excellent for a 5 nights,I want to point out our waitress Eva from Phillipines and Milton fron St Vincent, they were great, treated us like in home.desserts were pretty solid, highlight:soft serve icecream at the windjammer.cleanliness: very clean, bathrooms all well appointed, again no complaints...room service was picked up from halls very quickly. entertainment: was great, but Ricky Matthews the cruise director and his staff always had lots of events, we played a bunch of trivia, tried very had to win the "quest" which was a riot, saw alot of themed dance nights and karaoke, something for everyone...really EVERYONEI was extremely impressed with the entire staff on Serenade of the Seas! Everyone was extremely kind, patient, personable, and happy! Getting on and off the ship was painless. It went very quickly! Be sure to have paperwork done ahead to get on ship! It saved a lot of time.getting off the boat was really easy 10 minutes through customs. Ports of Call - all arranged through Royal Caribbean:Tortola-NiceSt. Marteen- The bestSt. Kitts-RainingDominica-RainingBarbados-was okThe week flew by...can't wait for the next cruise. Hands down, it will be with Royal Caribbean.
