On reading various other reports on this cruise and ship I do not know why people were complaining - What are they used to at home. The ship was very clean, the staff very helpful, and the food very good. Where else can you get lunch until 1600 hours on embarkation day. And breakfast (everything cooked from 0500).All the shore excursions were value for money - definately a good way to see an entirely diferent culture. Even getting free bottled water on all the trips - this was a much appreciated first. The only down side was the entertainment which was not as good as previous cruises. The cruise director Cuddy did not know his facts and seemed to produce an excess of hot air.The dining was very good. The dining room staff were all helpful and informative. The speciality restaurants were also value for money. Evne got free champagne on the last night at the Portifino along with a fireworks display thrown in as well- definately worth the extra.
