More than 2 hours to check in due to Norovirus clean - not good.Too many Rude/drunk passengers & Kids.Beer/wine.spirit packages lasted all of 2 prior cruises starting mid march 2011 because when I "finally" got to check in I was told to arrange my Beer package at any Bar on the Ship & when I got to the Bars was told it was a "Trial" and was now not available ?? & there was NO alternative. Not Happy.The Drink prices were outrageous £4.60 for a pint (of watered down Lager)and £3.70 for a 330ml bottle of Becks,peroni,stella.Wine was £6.61 a GLASS and bottles were £23 & upwards,so how Some of the Scots got so drunk must mean they must be Rich or Lightwieghts.R.C. lost out as I modified my drinking on board & spent more time/money ashore on local CHEAP drinks & "smuggled" plenty of Hootch on board.Ship itself is great,Balcony rooms are bigger than most & very comfy,room service was fine if a bit slow at times & the food generally was good.Windjammer is a "No Go" area & would reccommend using the Restuarants on deck 3 & 4 for breakfast & Lunch. Waiter service top notch as was our Cabin Guy.Paper cups & wood stirrers in room for making tea (no coffee) were Naff so we kept our Room service china cups,spoons in the room.Too many (Scot) Kids unattended, using lifts as entertainment,running about everywhere while the parents were elsewhere.
