My wife and I cruised on the Crown Princess March 19 to 26 , 2011. this was the best of the 7 cruises we have been on except for the flight to and from. we used princess air and were routed through Montreal Airport Canada from Ottawa Canada. If any one is going South do not use this airport. Very disorganized . poor gate signage and no direct access to your next gate. fly direct from your home city or go through Toronto airport. not the fault of princess or our travel agent, Just bad airport authority in the city of Montreal.My wife and I are going to cruise with princess again in 2013 and will fly down direct even if we have to go down the day before.The cruise itself was wonderful. Ports Grand Cayman, Roatan, Cozumel and princess key were all wonderful .We have been to these ports before and always enjoy them. We don't go on these excursion as we find them way over priced. We wonder through the town shopping and sight seeing at our leisure. Food on Princess was excellent. always good service in the included restaurants. don't use the pay restaurants at all. no need to. The crew on princess were playful and funny . Never saw a frown all week. The entertainment Shows, comedians very good. we usually dont go to the shows. This time we saw 3.The Princess Captain , Captain Nash Also made this trip very special. On our second last day , In route to Princess Key , our ship came upon a small 15 ft boat, with 18 Cubans on board. A 100 miles out in the middle of nowhere. Captain Nash keep The passengers Informed Of the situation .Informed the U.S coast Guard of the boat and then told us that we would stay the 40 minutes it would take the coast to get there. we were lucky to have a port side balcony view of the coast guard rescue. Captain Nash made the passenger feel they were all involved in the rescue. A big cheer could be heard from ship as the coast guard arrived and pull the people to safety. Thank You princess crew and captain for making this cruise a special memory for us. hopefully we will see some of you in 2013. I think we will make princess our cruise company from now on. we have been on Norwegian 3 times , but last time on the Dawn poor service , food second rate. Felt like we were being nickel and dimed all week.happy cruising
