hi this is my first cruise. I have never being on a ship before. it was very interesting. the service was wonderful. overall I felt the crowd to be over 50 and above. there was very few in the late 30s and early 40s.i was looking forward to making lots of friends. I found the crowd to be snobish. everyone was in bed by 12. there wasnt much to do after that time. the ports of call were nice. you had to really bargain with them to get good rates to do things. I do not recommend booking excurions on the ship. you can get better rates on the land. or island. 5 islands one after the other seemed like alot. I had a nice time. the food was great. service was great. but next time i WOULD like to meet more people my age. I had a problem right from the begining when the check in agent didnt even know what an irish passport looked like. and then told me she was not going to accept a perfectly valid passport with 1 year left on it. I couldnt use my american passport as I didnt have time to renew it. I booked with vacationstogo and there service was wonderful. we also got 100 credit. the passport thing really set a bad tone from the start. even though i had a nice time. I would not go on this ship again. I found the crown not to be very friendly and I had heard that the friends that you meet on the ship last a lifetime. drew who was the host for the celebrity equinox theater was very welcoming. i had a nice chat with him.if you require additional info and you are considering taking a cruise with this ship.
