We drove the 6 hours to San Pedro from Arizona and spent the night prior to the cruise at the Vagabond Inn. Not the best choice but I had confused this hotel to one we had stayed at previously. We were not over the moon about the accommodations but it was somewhere to lay our heads and they watched over our car for two weeks for only $50 more. The couple we were traveling with were even more unenthused about the "smoking" room they booked. Boarding was swift, we arrived at port with the 1st shuttle from the hotel at 11 and were placed into the captains circle lounge and were on board in time for pizza at the grill for lunch. Our cabin was an aft facing BC category with a balcony and the view was spectacular especially when we arrived in Ensenada and we were greeted by hundreds of sea lions on the jetty. The food was fabulous but nothing surpasses the Chef's table experience which we had for the 1st time and we will plan on making this a permanent part of our cruise experience. The $75pp price tag is a good value for the opportunity. Our head waiter Francesco and the Maitre DiIgnacio enhanced the dining. Entertainment was good at least what we partook of, Steve Moris was fun and the audience experience was wonderful. And the rock and roll juggler was funny and entertaining. We enjoyed a movie or two. The casino left a lot to desire with some old boring slots and poker faced blackjack dealers but that did not deter us from spending time there every night. The thermal suite at the Lotus spa was key and worth every cent of the cruise long 99 fee. The suite combined with 3 different massages was just what the doctor ordered to completely unwind, unstress and relax. The rasual and the ginger lime scrub left my skin feeling like silk and glowing. The Molokinini snorkel tour was a highlight as was Rickeys tour. Royal Hawaiian transportation was a lowlight (please see my thread on the boards)We met some wonderful folks whom we hope to connect with again and I can't wait to get busy planning our next Princess cruise
