We returned yesterday (4/11/11) from another wonderful cruise on the Enchantment. We cruised on the Enchantment this past October and enjoyed the ship so much that we decided to sail on her again just 6 months later.

We really enjoyed elegance of a smaller ship, especially the atrium. The atrium is a gathering place to either be a part of or watch a lot of entertainment from dance lessons to the 70's party to listening to live music. We felt very connected to the guests and crew especially when we all gathered in the atrium. My husband and I enjoy dancing and to our delight, this ship offered more dance lessons than we have ever had on any ship. Turns out that Alex and Terri Ann volunteered their time (they were paying passengers)usually 2 times a day for an hour each lesson. They were fantastic......we learned many new dance steps and were able to use them on the dance floor!!!! Thanks Alex and Terri Ann!!!!

We found the food to be delicious. We almost always ate all 3 meals in the main dining room. The breakfast and lunch bars were amazing as well as the meal options off the menu. We enjoyed my time dining and the ability to change times if necessary. We were greeted with a smile every night and led to our table which was in a fantastic area. Our waiter and assistant waiter were fantastic. The head waiter pitches right in to help. They are a great team! "Pink Puppy" misses all of you!!!

Our cabin was a pleasure to return to. Twice a day fresh towels, clean bathroom, turn down service.......what else can you ask for........I sure miss this luxury right now as I am back to our normal cleaning routine!

We found the ship to be clean and crew worked extremely hard keeping it that way. We also noticed that the railings on the decks are being painted. There is always something being cleaned, replaced, etc........also, we have found that this ship does a great job sailing even when the seas are a little rough!! Neither of our sailings on the Enchantment had many children (we try to cruise when the children are in school). We are in our upper 50's and there were many older guests (older than us) on the ship. We enjoyed meeting everyone, both old and young..... We heard that on the next sailing (4/11/11) to Bermuda, on the Encantment will have approximately 900 children........so, you never know!!!

We will sail Royal again in September and we are looking very forward to it. We will be sailing from Port Canaveral on our next cruise as we will be in Florida visiting family. But when we want to cruise without flying, cruising out of Baltimore on the Enchantment, we know, will be ANOTHER wonderful experience! We do however, wish Royal would consider sailing out of Norfolk again as we live in VA Beach!!

Thank you Royal for all you do for your guests.........

Cabin Review

Large Inside Stateroom
Cabin L 2100
Cabin 2100 was very nice. We chose this cabin on both of our Enchantment cruises. Nice window, plenty of room for clothes, etc. Shower certainly could be bigger as it is tiny. I tucked in the bottom of the comforter at the edge of the bed, on both sides, to make it easier to get out of bed to go to the bathroom without tripping......sort of a tight squeeze between the bed and the counter by the TV. Cabin 2100 is quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfy.....we slept very soundly every night. The category is a large ocean view.
