Having seen the cruise advertised at a ridiculous price we decided to take the plungeWe found P and O to be of a genuine good standard The service was excellent.we found the headliners shows fantastic in the theatre and possibly the best we had seen on a cruise ship and we have been on 5 different linersWe found the food in the Peninsula restaurant was fine but we did find the buffet restaurant poor In Fact if you are from the USA you would struggle on a P And O ship as in our opinion the food on an American ship is of better quality and much greater choice and better presented.particularly at lunch time which was very uninspiringWe found the cabins were the same as on our last trip on a princess ship last year and we thought the facilities were very good with an easy to use interactive TV with complimentary films and classic TV shows as well as tea making facilities We were caught out by the weather as this too was better then we hoped!!We also thought the shuttle buses were well organised and free another added bonus as well as the drinks being reasonably priced although we only had one bottle of wine and a few cocktails! we spent more on Costa coffee! The fact that next year all their ships are sailing from Southampton, as flying is now more hassle than the M25, if a deal was available we would book with out a second thought
