This cruise was right up there with any Princess or RCI, and much better than I imagined after having sailed the Norway, which needed to be put down about 20 years before it was. I've read some of the reviews and I give this a 4. I reserve a higher score for any ship which equals a Silversea but doesn't charge me for it. That would be the old Renaissance cruises on the smaller ships. This wasn't it, but it was still highly (and surprisingly) competitive. In this case, considering a nice balcony with great views, travel, etc., etc, it's not a bad deal at all.

Embarkation: We were somewhat late and thus went right through. Extra forms for foreigners to fill out, which I thought could have been mailed out beforehand and sped things up a bit.

The rooms: Comfortable size -- small, but about average for a large ship carrying this many passengers. The bathroom was neatly designed with glass sliding doors separating the shower area and the lavatory from the sink. Nicely tiled. Balcony is roomy enough for two to sit and lounge comfortably, as long as there's only one person lounging -- but again, this is typical. I recommend booking starboard side on this cruise, as for some reason port never got much sun till the (quick) way back.
