After reading several reviews before and after our trip to Hawaii I felt that there are many that would not know a good thing if they saw it. Similar to what I see of many Americans. There are some that same to blame the crew for poor service. But by the travelers conduct I do not blame the crew for not putting up with them. No wonder why they are treated the way they seem to think they are. In most cases they bring on the treatment they receive. Most people are mirror images of how they are treated. So I am not surprised that the staff is not always willing to extend their best to everyone. I have learned from young on that a smile will most offend be returned with a smile. A "thank you" is often returned to you ten fold. As my grandfather always said. "You can catch far more butterflies with honey than you can with vinegar".That said we had a great time on board our ship. We were greeted by the staff with a smile and received great service. We went out of our way to get to know the hostess, and the wait staff. We asked personal question of the staff, thanked them for their service and treated them well. Than after our first night the restaurant manager would stopped by our table to see how we were doing at most meals. He arranged for one of the best tables for many of our dinners. The hostess always found a great table for our breakfast each morning. Now I will say we were a group of 9 so we were noticed by most when we were dinning.A couple of us started our day early with coffee at the Cadillac Dinner and a muffin while we waited for our group to get going. The staff always saw us and came with the coffee pot in hand, a smile and Aloha to greet us. My wife walked the deck earlier and was always greeted by staff. Our cabin was always ready for our return and our stateroom steward went out off his way to see if we needed anything each day. He knew me by name the first morning ofter our trip started. Now it was our first time to be on a cruise. But by no means our first time to be travelers. I traveled a lot for work stay at upscale hotels or resorts and always treated airlines, restaurant and hotel/resort staff with respect. My wife and I have lived in Europe for a while and have traveled both in and beyond the US several times. Again we knew that treating others the way we would like to be treated went a long ways toward having a great time when we traveled.Biggest bumber of the trip was we did not get to Kona as the port was damaged by the tsunami.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Fair size for the cabin grade we had. Will always have a balcony as it was a treat to view coming into port and extended the size of the room. Hallway was quite as there were very few kids in our area. Much better than many hotels. Getting off the ship for final disembarkment needs some work. Hard to hear the PA system with the number of people in the area. Missed our call but we were able to find all of our luggage easily as most others in our time group were gone.
