This was our 13th cruise and our 4th with NCL.We live in NYC so when the dates and itineraries work, it's a pleasure to leave minutes away from our home! Buffet: That being said, embarkation was super smooth and once on the ship we headed to the buffet where we enjoyed eating with the other hoards of people. There was always plenty of variety at the buffet on all days. My major complaint is that the buffet closes at 9:30pm every day and 9pm on the eve of the chocolate buffet, so please take note and you won't be disappointed as we were! I loved the Indian food being a vegetarian and looked forward to it every day.We ate in Tsar's a few nights but also in The Great Outdoors when the weather was pleasant. We did not eat in any of the specialty restaurants.Stateroom: Our balcony room was perfectly nice and I enjoyed the location. Our stewards as well as the entire staff could not have been more accommodating and pleasant on the entire cruise. I find that enjoying your stateroom also depends upon your neighbors. Ours were quiet and pleasant. However, one nice day when we were sitting on our balcony, the smell of cigar smoke drifted toward us. I called the concierge to complain and they sent up a security person to speak to our neighbor. Luckily, all was well after that and I so appreciated NCL dealing with this quickly and quietly.Balcony rooms are able to order breakfast the night before. This was great but make a note that they usually deliver 1/2 hour earlier than you request. I always kept dollar bills handy to have tips readily available. Entertainment: The entertainment was ok, not bad and not great. However, this isn't Vegas, it's a cruise! I always wish they had more comedians as we enjoy this the most. I guess they moved Second City to the Epic, which we would love to try in the future. We took advantage of the cruise rewards program where you can place a deposit on a future cruise for $250. and received $100. OBC for this cruise. We did the CC Meet & Greet on our first sea day which was pleasant to see and meet others who have been so helpful and forthcoming with cruise information. As an extra perk those who attended were invited to a Bridge tour on our last sea day which we found interesting. Casino: Nice size, however, I must complain that NCL did not try to please us non-smokers in any way! It would be smart for them to establish non-smoking tables or evenings occasionally in the future.Ports: Port Canaveral: We rented a car with Hertz and they had the shuttle at the port when we arrived. We did what I can bet no other cruiser did. We went to a ball game, Washington Nationals vs Houston Astros in Viera. We had already been to the Space Center which is worthwhile if you've never done it.GSC: Stayed on the ship and relaxed at the pool. There are not enough shady spots by the pool so if you want one, get up early and put a towel and book to reserve.Nassau: We took a taxi to Atlantis and visited their casino then headed back to enjoy the ship.Debarkation: One final breakfast in the buffet...(oh how I miss those breakfasts!) Getting off the ship took a bit longer even though we were taking our own luggage off the ship. However, it went a bit quicker that it appeared and in approx one hour after leaving our stateroom, we were back in our apartment!
