Great modern ship let down by bad organisation, Food was what one would expect at Butlns. No variety in the cafeteria, same food served up every day. Entertainment was great if you liked opera. The best show of the whole trip was one put on by staff and passengers. The company would be well advised to take note.On docking in Malaga we were informed that the town was a 20 minute bus ride at a cost of $9 PER HEAD journey took just 5 minutes. Some passengers used the local bus which cost 3EU RETURN. The same happened at Barcelona but this time the cost was $11 per passenger, quite a few complained and were told if the traffic had been heavy it could have taken 20 minutes.Best one was when they started putting $12 per person per day on our bills as a service charge as they did not permit tipping on the boat. We told them that we were not prepare to pay this and would tip as we felt fit. Needless to say this soon circulated around the boat. This wasn't only the British who were complaining, but also the Americans who were saying this was a rip off.The highlite of the boat was definatly the Indonesian staff nothing was too much trouble for them and they always had a smile on thier faces. By the time we docked in Genoa we were redy to get off as quick as we could, but we didn't relise that we were to be out of our cabins by 0700 hrs and our coach wouldn't be leaving untill 1000 hrs Eventualy we boarded a coach which was to take us to Malan to catch our flight home some 7 hrs later.
Cabin was fine, with TV though only 3 channels in English. Cleaning staff kept the room immaculate.
Even though we were on the twelfth floor and over the propeller we experienced quite a lot of vibration.
