This was our families second cruise with Holland America and when i say family i mean 23 of us including 9 kids ages 8-17. The first HAL cruise had 19 of us including 7 kids 8-16 on the Eurodam. Arrived two days early and stayed at Holiday

Inn Express by airport and port, very nice, great breakfast and nice pool area. The at sea days we try to do as many activities as we can, this includes pool activities, basketball games, volleyball games, trivia, bingo which we all enjoy (four winners in our group), eating and of course the usual cocktail around pool. It may sound like a lot to do, but the activities are spread out so that you can enjoy that meal or cocktail around pool. First cruise was a balcony stateroom which we enjoyed but thought this time we would try a inside room for the price. I think depending on price we will get balcony from now on. On to dining, overall good to awesome. The reason for the wide range is that we at the Pinnacle Grill one night this was awesome, Lido always had something i liked, and Dining Room's choices a couple nights weren't to my liking. Seeing how we had 9 kids in the group they did spend a lot of time with Club HAL, the younger kids wanted to be there as much as possible some all day then eat with parents and back to Club HAL for the rest of night. The teenage would go to Club HAL at night, and during day hang with the kids they met at Club HAL. Shows on ship were very good, the comedian was funny and the singers and dancers were very good at their craft. Disembarkation is a breeze, very organized, and not stressful at all.

Cabin Review

Standard Interior Stateroom

Rooms were very nice and enough space for the 4 of us to and our clothes to be put away in closets and drawers. Cabin stewards on HAL keep the room looking like you just arrived on ship twice a day.
