Our cruise on the Eurodam was excellent; a huge improvement over our last cruise on the Ryndam. From the elegant Art Nouveau interior through the reasonably priced excursions, this liner is first class all the way!

Our satisfaction started with the organized embarkation at Ft. Lauderdale. We were onboard shortly after 11 am. What a wonderful surprise ourselves upgraded to a balcony suite. We can't say enough about our steward, Yuli, and our waiter, Dodi. Both were excellent ambassadors for HAL and we hope they are recognized as such by their employer.

We chose the 8pm fixed seating option. The food was delicious. The companionship at our table was enjoyable, and we laughed our way through haute cuisine for the entire cruise. The only caveat is the number of times we had chipped water goblets. On the fifth day 4 out of 5 of us had damaged stems that could be hazardous in the wrong hands. On day 6 it was reduced to 1 out of 2, and on day 7, reduced again to 2 out of 5. Still a poor perentage.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Ample closets, private & comfortable balcony, upscale decorating, quiet and clean hallways, appreciated the secure safe in the closet area. Only issue is the small space between the bed and closet/bathroom door area. Easy to accidentally hit each other when one person was standing by the closet while the other person was exiting bathroom - hazardous. Only recommendation is to install automatic lights in each closet - would make it easier to access clothing at night and see into the interior of the safe.
