Went on a 5 day cruise with Royal Carribbean on Navigator of the seas in February. Two ports of call were Grand Caymen and Cozumel. Embarkation was Fort Lauderdale. Had a great time, but wanted to share some tips and tricks with you so you can have a great time too.

First of all, my husband and I went with my sister and her husband, so we had two couples in our group. Our ages range from 42-49. We did not have children with us.

We flew to Ft. Lauderdale the night before embarkation, and my sister booked us a hotel on priceline. The hotel was great, Sheraton, $75.00 per night. The only problem was, it was a $40 taxi ride from the airport to the hotel, and another $40 from the hotel to the cruise port. ADVICE: find a hotel that has a free shuttle to and from airport/cruise terminal.
