Cabin: Balcony

Cabin: I liked the layout of our balcony cabin. The twin beds were next to the balcony door giving us plenty of room to get in and out of the bathroom, use the vanity table, and get in and out of closets.

Food: Dinners in the main dining room were very good. The buffet was a nightmare! The design of the buffet made it very difficult to get your food and by the time you found an empty table, your food was cold. The coffee was strong enough to grow hair on your chest! I paid $4.61 for cappuccino at the Fountain Cafe and it was pretty bad, too.

Staff: The staff on this ship were very friendly and helpful. They seemed to like their jobs and it showed. One dining room staff person on the second level, Katherine, went above and beyond what was expected to be helpful.

Cabin 8F

Cabin 8247 was directly below the buffet. Easy to get to when you're hungry, however, you could hear chairs scraping on the floor at night. It seemed to quiet down after 10 PM. The layout of the cabin was perfect with the beds next to the balcony door. There were plenty of closets and drawers. The vanity area was quite roomy with good lighting. The bathroom had a spacious sink area, but the shower was small.
