The staff on the ship were excellent. Our cabin maid was absolutely brilliant, as were the restaurant staff.
Our cabin was very tired and uncomfortable. the shower room had tiles falling off the walls and black mold in between the tiles. How they managed to fit a toilet, shower cubicle and a was basin in such a small place is remarkable.
My husband and I were both ill with the sickness and diarrhea bug. This resulted in us being confined to our cabins (by the doctor) on 2 separate occasions, day 3 and day 5. This was for a period of 24 hours on both occasions. Spending so much time in such a confined space, felt very much like being in a prison cell. We had an inside cabin, therefore the feeling of night and day merged into one. The medical staff were extremely professional. We had 4 visits from the doctor and 5 from the nurse. There were no charges for this service.
