Additional details

Sail Date: Feb 2011
Cabin:

We booked the short 4 day jaunt on Cunard's Queen Victoria, not for the itinerary. We wanted a taste of Cunard, and this shortie was a great way to experience it.

Embarkation: In LA went very smoothly. We were on the ship and having lunch by 1pm. We were able to go to our stateroom and drop our things as soon as we boarded. The elevator to the lido lunch buffet was easy and no wait.

Dining:

Cabin Review

We were all the way forward with a lovely view of the overhanging bridge from our balcony. Quiet hallways. Tiny bathroom, very small shower, but great bath products. Robes and slippers waiting in stateroom upon arrival as well as a full bottle of champagne, which we rather enjoyed.

Port Reviews

Ensenada

Ensenada is not very scenic, nor is there much to do there. We visit an American owned spa there when we stop there. Other than that, until Mexico becomes safer, there isn't alot of reason to get off the ship in Ensenada.
