We flu into Ft Lauderdale the morning of the cruise, trusting the weather would cooperate to get us there in time.
Embarkation was a breeze, and we were in our cabin by 1p.m. We had a mini suit on deck 7 (Dolphin) and Edgar was our super cabin Stewart. The cabin had 2 TVs and a tub in the washroom. We were given a glass of champagne and had fresh fruit every day. We enjoyed having room service every morning and had coffee, juice and cereal on the balcony. The first thing we did was to call the dining room and put our names on the list for The Chef Table. We were lucky to be invited and it was the best $75.00 we spend on the whole cruise. There are only 5 couples invited and the meal started at 7 p.m. and went till 10:00 p.m. There was a tour of the galley where Chef Giuseppe and his staff served 4 appetizers with champagne. Then it was off to the dining room and we were served many courses that were pared with wines. They give you a cook book and had pictures taken as a souvenir. It was one of the high lite of the cruise.
We had traditional dining, and our waiters Douglas and Lawrence could not have been nicer. We sat at a table for 6, but the first night we dined alone. The next night we had a nice couple that joined us, but never had a 3rd couple the rest of the cruise.
