My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week on the Ruby. This was our first time on this ship and we were not disappointed, we thought the ship was beautiful and all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We left from Buffalo the day of the cruise, normally something that we hate to do but this year could not be prevented. Luckily no weather problems and all the flights were very smooth. We arrived at FLL around 12:30 in the afternoon and just took a taxi straight to the peer. We could have used the Princess transfer but we didn't want to have to wait for the bus to fill up, plus the taxi was cheaper, only cost about $15 plus tip.

Arriving at the terminal there was barely any line and we were able to check in right away. In about 15 minutes were on the ship and in our room. We chose an inside cabin and always stay in R-745 whenever we are inside. If we can't have a balcony it's nice to be right by the door to go up to the aft pool and everything is right there, elevators are close, food and bar right above us. We find this to be out favorite location on the ship if it's available.

Cabin Review

R-745 Great Location for an inside cabin...at the back of the ship right by the door out to the aft pool. Room Steward was excellent. A little noise in the morning when they are setting up loungers by the pool but not enough to be an issue. This is our favorite inside cabin.
