Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Embarkation was totally insane and confusing on the 6th - one line to drop your bags and then another line to stand in to check in and board outside.

We got off the boat the following Sunday on teh 13th to go the Mass and to meet our children and their spouses who were cruising with us the second week. It looked like they solved whatever problems we experienced the previous week because the embarkation was much smoother according to what we observed and heard.

Our room was available upon arrival at 1:00 PM and we were having a snack up on deck by 1:30 PM

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Our cabin was 8218 on the starboard side of the vessel in the front. I was a bit concerned about being that far up front but it was a great experience. We left the balcony door open most evenings and would fall asleep and wake up hearing the sound of the ocean going by.

Other than the bed being a bit too hard the room was adequate and had ample storage. The bathroom was big enough as was the glass enclosed shower. Unfortunately our room had a connecting door to the room 8220 and on several occasions we could hear our neighbors TV blaring late into the early morning.
