Our cruise was a pleasant surprise after reading all the negative reviews. I think it all has to do with perspective. We had a great time. It was a family reunion, there were sixteen of us ranging in age from 1 to 75.

The ship was clean and pretty, the rooms were nice -- especially with a balcony. Our adult children were on the 4th floor with no porthole, they definitely suggested a room with a view! The beds were comfortable. The baths very roomy with nice hot water pressure. The ship does creak. Expect a rougher ride on the way back.

Now about the food. The reviews are right in the two main dining rooms the food was terrible. We had dinner at the Tex Mex restaurant The fajitas were good and the lobster chowder was good but that is it. We had dinner at the free Italian restaurant it was good. Cagneys steak house was fabulous as was Ginza for dinner and sushi. The French Bistro is fancy, great service, great food, especially the desserts. Soho was so so. (Ha-Ha) The Buffet was so-so, kind of boring -- every morning same thing. The best bet was the omelet station.
