Cabin: Promenade Stateroom

There was confusion at Southampton about the boarding time so we were sent off to IKEA to have coffee. The boarding process was similar but mercifully a bit quicker than an airport.

Our cabin (stateroom) overlooked the Promenade or shopping mall. We found this useful for watching the parades and were more than happy with the size and facilities. The soundproofing was remarkably good. Oddly, we were provided with teabags etc but no coffee. We used the mini bar for storing the fresh milk.

We had been warned about the norovirus and were given the chance to cancel. The crew made determined efforts to keep every surface disinfected (doors,tables,chair-backs,handrails,lift buttons etc )at least once every hour. Dispensers were readily available. The Master reported that there had been only 9 cases.

Promenade Stateroom

Cabin PR

Large enough for two - really good sized bed. Remarkably quiet even from adjoining cabins.

Need both round and flat pin electric adaptors
