This was our (Wife and I) 6th cruise, 5th with Carnival, I am the ultimate fan of Carnival and I have not to date had a bad cruise with Carnival. First of all let me give a very special THANK YOU to "our" Carnival vacation planner, Lee Fernande..... She is the one who first suggested a 9A "wrap around Balcony" Stateroom. I'm an Air Force retiree, and she was able to "BEAT" the Military rate. She has now been our vacation planner for several years and she has far exceeded our expectations!!!!! You go girl!!!!!!

Embarkation: Our favorite port is Mobile. However, New Orleans has a bigger ship and longer lines. The staff did a great job getting everyone through and on the ship. By the time we parked the car, it took us about an hour to get on Ship, Not bad at all considering all the people.

The ship is a beautiful ship, especially considering her age, Maiden voyage was 1999. DW and I was really impressed with our stateroom (9A), If we ever sail on another ship that has this type of cabin, we will sail on it, The inside was just as Impressive (lots of room), you would almost think it was a suite. The only down side is the design of decks, there are allot of going up or down to get to get to each ends of the ship. I studied the deck plans for months prior to sailing and still got a little confused from time to time and found myself helping people find places all 7 days of the cruise. Over all it was a Great Get-A-Way for us!!!!!
