GRAND SUITE ROOM

The cruise started off a bit rocky as we forgot our passports at the house and only realized after dropping off our friends from Michigan along with our non-carry-on luggage in Galveston. On a plus side, our room was ready when we got back and on first view, the Grand Suite was amazing! First thing to do is of course ring the door bell. After that, we explored the room - DW's 12-dozen roses from the All About Love Romance Package were already in the room along with a complimentary fruit basket and a fancy glass bottle of Evian water. They didn't deliver the non-alcoholic champagne / chocolate fruit candies on day one as per my request but a quick stop by the Guest Relations Desk on day 2 took care of this.

The bed was larger than any of the prior rooms we've stayed in (closer to a king-size), the different lights could be dimmed from a panel near the A/C control, the balcony had new chairs/table and a comfortable lounger, a couch that could have converted to a bed w/two extra chairs and a coffee table, the television system which consisted of a flat screen television / surround sound system / VCR / DVD player, and there was a ton of space for storage (for Brandie's make-up around the vanity mirror, the storage around the safe, in the bathroom behind the mirrors & multiple drawers, two night stands, multiple drawers within the min-bar, and huge closet). With all of the storage space, all of our stuff was easily unpacked and out of site with room to spare.
