We stayed Saturday night at the Springhill Suites and I highly recommend it! It's right across the highway from Target and we made two trips there on Sat. Located on the feeder road off Broadway just as you come into Galveston off I-45 from Houston. We drove to EZ Cruise parking about 11:00 Sun. and were on the ship by 11:45. Best embarkation and disembarkation I've ever experienced!

Our weather was great, very smooth seas just about the entire cruise. We got several packages of meclizine at the Customer Service desk for "just in case". They are free for the asking.

The CD, Casey Pelter, is awesome; he's truly outstanding. On his "Morning Show" he reads jokes that passengers put in his "box" and the joke each morning that they think is the best one, that cabin gets a prize sent to their cabin. Don't have any idea what the prize is, but I'm sure we'll all agree that it must be something really fabulous. Sooooooo, print a few of your favorite jokes off the internet and take on board to put in Casey's "box". It just might win you a few fabulous prizes. FYI, they must be clean!
