Just returned from Mexican Riviera. Had some problems with NCL prior to sailing and unfortunately things never really improved from that point forward. Embarcation in San Pedro was a joke- previous review said that they blame everyone else but themselves and that sure was right. From customs not clearing the ship to not enough baggage handlers. Once onboard we went up to Buffet for lunch- ICH! NO ambiance and lousy food. They need to close the doors on that place and forget it exists.
Cabin was handicapp accessible so larger size. But cabin lighting is awful and in this cabin- not even lights by the bed! Room stewards great and cabin was at least clean. Other than that nothing special.
Food in main dining rooms not good first 4 nights- improved after that and even plate presentations got better. Wait staff about the same as on other cruise lines that offer anytime dining- pleasant but nothing exceptional. Were surprised that most evenings we had to ask for bar service in the dining rooms! Did not think prices for wine or bar selections to be high.
Handicap, poor lighting, small uncomfortable old couch with a pull down bed over it so not good for tall people to sit on, poor TV placement, close to elevators, quiet.
