This was my fourth cruise, my first on Celebrity...we chose this line for a more upscale, relaxed cruise and because of the stricter smoking policy than on other lines...we arrived at the port at 2:30 and was on board in less than 15 minutes..the only snafu was I had 1 bottle of wine in my carry on and they confiscated it and said I could get it back at the end of the cruise...I had been reading that we were allowed 2...so I just left it with them and thought it was no big deal...we got on board, checked out our room...it was small but I was glad to have the porthole window...then up to the buffet for a bite to eat and a drink.

We had early dining and our first night met the 5 other people at our table...3 lovely ladies traveling together..and a very nice couple....my hubby had a big concern about dining with strangers...but in the end we had a nice time eating dinner with them each night...laughing at there stories and telling them ours...food was really good...I only had 1 night of disappointment in the dining room...

I forgot to add that on our first night returning to our room for bed...my wine was in the room...so not sure why they took every one's wine upon boarding..but it was returned, so I didn't care. Read more
