I am posting this because I imagine there will be many negative reviews of this cruise. They will stem from the fact that there was a significant norovirus epidemic and the crew had to engage in many inconvenient processes to control the outbreak. For example, all the library books were removed, one could not take food from the buffet- it had to be served, hand sanitizing was ubiquitous, and announcements were made over the loudspeaker about the problem.

But in fact the crew worked incredibly hard to not only attempt to control the outbreak, but also to be helpful in all other aspects to make the cruise enjoyable given the circumstances.

The food was very good, the service was very good, the cabins were great-and of particular note was the size of the bathroom-which was much larger than that on other cruise lines. Read more
