We were on the Maiden Voyage of the Disney Dream with our 3 y/o grandson. We had a fantastic time. We had a 5E Oceanview Verandah. It was huge and relaxing. The door lock was high up and our grandson could not open it. The ship is huge. We did not get through a third of the ship. There were 3200 passengers on the ship, but it was not overly crowded on the ship. The dining staff were great, but sometimes service was a bit slow. Seems like they need to work on that a bit. The guest service line was too long, waiting 35 minutes on two occasions. The other improvement could be getting the Personal Navigator out earlier. It often did not come until after 10pm. That is a bit late to start planning for the next day. Getting on board was surprisingly long. We have been on several Disney Cruises and were surprised we had to wait so long to get onto the ship. We were boarded in groups. When we got there Group 21 was boarding. We were group 30 and it took over an hour to get onboard. We never experienced this before on Disney so I bet it is just one of those things.

Overall, this was a great trip with wonderful crew members who were kind and caring. The entertainment was great. The pools and ports were great. Castaway Cay was the best. THe room was wonderful and comfy. Plenty of storage space, just not enough outlets in the bathroom. The refrigerator was great for soda we brought onboard. Disney gives free soda around the clock at a soda, coffee, tea center. There was plenty of food. The food was delicious.

We will cruise again with Disney.
