This is our first time cruising the Southern Caribbean and this itinerary was very nice - San Juan, Sea day, Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, St Maarten, St Croix, San Juan.

THE SHIP STUFF

Ship embarkation/disembarkation was a breeze with no line-ups at either departure port or ports-of-call. The Adventure of the Seas is a nice ship still in great condition. Our interior cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. Nice bed linens and no evidence of bed bugs. The food - we ate all our breakfasts/dinners in the MDR . The wait staff was excellent. Our dinner waiter Murat was very entertaining. The food quality in MDR was very good - all seafood were good, lamb was good and the prime rib was excellent - I had this both nights they offered it. Other mentionables - strawberries/cantaloupe at breakfast, spinach dip, soufflEs, mango mousse. Snacks at the Cafe Promenade was delicious, especially the desserts! And my husband did enjoy the Windjammer Sushi Bar most evenings before our second seating dinner as he was always a little hungry since back home we eat at 6pm. The drinks - we are not big drinkers, we each had a bottle of wine that was put away each night which was great value. As well, our travel agent sent a bottle of wine to our room which was appreciated. Surprisingly found the drinks at the bars to be very reasonably priced. Lunches generally were on the islands so we could taste the local food - fried flying fish in Barbados. The entertainment - we enjoyed. Found the production shows by RC singer/dancers to be quite good. The Beatles tribute not to be missed and the Ice Show was excellent! You have to get tickets on the first day and try to get there early so that you can sit at the bottom of the U shaped theatre for best effect. The Love and Marriage show was hilarious! Cruise Director Anna Bass did a great job! But the best fun for me was the 70's disco party on the Promenade and then the Jesters nightclub afterwards. All the fun may have also have been due to fact that we had our Bachelorette party on this night. There was lots of boogey-ing anyhow! The Piano Bar was weak but the Lobby Bar band always got people dancing. THE PORTS-OF-CALL STUFF

Quiet location. Showerhead leaking. Shower drain very slow. Sink faucet takes awhile to go from hot to cold and vice versa.
